CASology #179: Simple

Happy New Year!

I hope that yours has gotten off to a good start!

I think this week’s CASology cue is about to become my ‘One Word’ for 2016:

Here it is:

I love the effect of ‘white on white’. Oceans of open space, keeping things very clean and simple!

This sweet little bird die has been popped up on some die-cut blue fun foam to add depth, interest and to tie in with the sentiment. Doesn’t get any simpler than this, folks.

The Design Team has some awesome CAS creations for your viewing pleasure, as well as some new team members! Take a look!

  1. I love the white on white too, with just a bit of blue . Beautiful and simple design Hazel! Happy New Year!

  2. Fabulous card, Hazel! I love how a touch of blue is peeking out from behind the bird, and your design is perfectly CAS! Loving all that yummy white space, too 🙂

  3. Wonderfully CAS, and I love how the only color is the bit underneath the bird. Happy new year, and wishing you a year of notes (all happy ones)

  4. Wow, that is foam? Cool! I thought maybe you outlines the bird with a marker…this is so COOL, Hazel! Yep, it doesn’t get any more CAS than that! LOVE!!!
