CASology #247: FLOW

Hello fellow CASology enthusiasts!

It’s Tuesday again, which means new cue time!

Here’s one to get those creative juices flowing:

Initially, I thought about the ‘flow’ of watercolour, hence my choice of colouring medium this week.  The wings of one of Altenew’s  largest Painted Butterflies seemed the ideal choice to loosely sweep some colour through . A ‘flowing border’  helped to add movement to the card, thanks to my newly acquired CUTplorations Stitched Snow Hills  And then, breaking with ALL tradition, I added some very pretty Neat & Tangled Sunset Summer Sequins – a gift from a generous crafty friend! And that’s it!

As already mentioned, Altenew is sponsoring our Challenge this week. We also have the delightful  Sunday Stamper joining us as Guest Designer!   Sunday Stamper always has a creative and thoughtful approach to CASology Challenges each week, and this week is no exception! 🙂

The rest of the DT also has some wonderful creations to whet your appetite, so please hop by and take a look! 🙂

Before I go, I would just like to add this card to the following Challenges:

CAS on Sunday – where the Challenge this week is to use sequins!

I have selected the elements from the middle row: sequins, die-cut and yellow (merging into orange and pink) 😉

Thanks so much for visiting!

  1. Your thoughts were spot on, Hazel! LOve the flow of pink to orange here … now if I could only grow butterflies of my own in these colors?! xx
