CASology #226: CANDLE

Hello, and welcome to another week at CASology.

Kitty Bee is kindly sponsoring this week’s Challenge, and has generously given us one of her very cute digital images to play with.

I chose this sweet little birthday cat and came up with a washi-tape inspired design:

Repeating a motif to reinforce a theme can be effective in a CAS design. I partially coloured each image to keep it CAS. A die-cut bow, purple foam heart, and  white-embossed sentiment completed the design.

Hope you can join us. Make sure you check out Kitty Bee Designs. She has both digis and clear stamps on offer.

That’s all from me! The Design Team has some more inspiration for you:

  1. Well Haze, this couldn’t be any cuter!!! Love that sweet little image and I think you chose a genius way to use it too. Fab use of the challenge colours as well. So wonderful to see you at Just Add Ink!!

  2. What a cute idea to create your own washy tape effect Hazel. The little kitties are adorable and I love how you added that little splash of colour to each one. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

  3. This is SO brilliant, Haze! Definitely my favourite this week. I feel like that little bow also highlights the Hello Kitty-ness of the image. 🙂

  4. This is what you find when you look up “clever” in the dictionary! Wow, Hazel, what a brilliant idea. An adorable way to use those digi images! Mind blown!
