CASology#203: CONGRATULATIONS

Welcome to another week at CASology! Ready for a new cue?

Given the celebratory tone of our cue this week, I came up with this:

Stamps used: STAMPlorations: Retro Mod Shapes and Holiday Artsy.

Streamers are congratulatory, right? I created mine by using a small diamond shape stamp from the Retro Mod Shapes set. I just stamped it repeatedly to get the streamer length I wanted. I love that you can stretch this stamp set in so many ways!

Design defined:

This is a very CAS card! Adding ‘lines’ in the form of streamers introduces movement in what would otherwise be a very static card. A thin strip of glitter tape down the side adds a touch of celebratory glitz!

Take a look at how the cue inspired the DT this week:

Before I go, I would just like to add this to:

  1. Great card. Streamers always remind me of a celebration. Love your repeat stamping and the glitter strip adds just the right amount is sparkle.

  2. Beautiful CAS design, Hazel! I love how you created movement with the streamers. and your sparkly strip along the side is the perfect touch!

  3. Definitely can’t celebrate anything without streamers! Love how you created these – I never would have thought of that. And the touch of sparkle is perfect. 😀
