Hello again!
CASology has some fantastic cue words in the pipeline, and this one is no exception:
I immediately thought of acetate when I saw this cue, so worked that into my design:
I love how acetate can give the illusion of depth and dimension to what is, essentially, a one-layer card.
Using a repeated motif, and a minimal colour palette helps to keep things uncluttered and CAS, if restricted to a third of your card. And as I’m still on a bender with the glitter tape, I couldn’t resist the silver stripes!
Take a look at the rest of the DT’s cards:

My first thought too but think it might be a bit tricky for me! However you have worked wonders x
This is such a fantastic card design. Love the glitter in combination with that fun clear window.
I love this, Hazel. The acetate is perfect (I wish I owned some, I think!) and the glitter tape is fabulous (I do own that! Yay!)! Perfect for the cue and all the challenges by our awesome sponsor this week!
The silver touch makes this even more special and lead my eye to the clear element ! Clever design Hazel!
Clearly delightful Hazel!
What a cool effect with the silver and clear panel!
Can’t go wrong with glitter tape. Love how you’ve used it to frame the acetate!
Terrific card Hazel! Love the clean design and punch from the silver and acetate.
Your flowers are gorgeous and look really amazing behind the clear panel! LOVE how you added sparkle to this card, too Hazel! Beautiful card!
Such a beautiful card love the flower panel peeping through the acetate and the touch of glitter, i really like how you have placed it on the edge of the card.

Hey Hazel!! I didn’t realize your card panel was see through. I had to take a second look and I love it. Nicely done.
What a clever design!!! Love the acetate panel!
