Here’s my impression of an Antipodean Christmas tree, using one of my favourite techniques – masking:

Overlapping the blues enabled me to add texture and dimension to the ‘waves’ without adding paper layers.

This is so clever and fun. I am still scratching my head wondering how you did it. Love the effect–like if a Christmas tree were made of waves and Santa came surfing by.
