Start your engines! It’s a new week at CASology!
Are you inspired?
I automatically thought ‘vintage’ when I saw this cue, and decided to go with a masculine themed card. Sadly, the sentiment applies, regardless of gender…
Such an easy card to make!
- Sentiment stamped in Stampin’ Up!’s Night of Navy ink on my base card.
- Large frame die-cut from Maggie Holmes’ Open Book die-set.
- Vintage car from Darkroom Door Vintage Automobiles stamped repeatedly across the frame in Stampin’ Up’s Early Espresso ink.
- Fun foam applied to the back of the frame for a bit of dimension.
- Frame applied to base card.
- Voila!
Lots of great inspiration from the Design Team and Guest Designer, AND we get to officially welcome the very talented Ren as our new teamie, so please pop over and say hi!

OMG, this made me laugh (and cry a little too!) It’s so true!
This is so very true, and really cleverly done. Love your idea to make a little frame.
Hazel, what a clever sentiment…I am not sure I am picking up speed though! *wink

I love this card Hazel, the sentiment is nicely framed by the vechicle print frame. It has been si uch fun being the guest designer as CAS-ology and work alongside talented cardmakers such as yourself ☺

Yep, unfortunately it is true…but this fun frame makes me smile! Very clever card!
hehe, I wonder if I am approaching the hill!
Great card HAzel!
Yup – great minds you and I! I love that fabulous old jalopy image! The sentiment, however, is scarily true. Next July I am officially over the hill but it sure seems like time has been picking up speed more and more with every year.
Cute card – fun sentiment! Love the vintage car frame!
Simply perfect, Hazel! I just love how you used that antique car and that sentiment is so fitting!!! 🙂
Hey Hazel!! How in the world do you always pull of the most amazing cards? This one didn’t have a vehicle on it and you still did an amazing job. He sentiment says it all. Beautifully done.
