Hello!
It’s CASology time again, and we have a new and delicious cue word for you:
Yum!
Here’s my offering:
I so enjoyed last week’s cue on repetition, that I wanted to repeat the technique, albeit with a difference.
I stamped my cupcake motif in grey ink to create a tone-on-tone border pattern, leaving a space for one cupcake, which was to be stamped in versa-mark, then heat-embossed, paper-pieced, and embellished with some glittery frosting and a pearl. Finally, I added a bit of grey twine and bow at the top of the card to balance the overall image, creating a ‘visual triangle’.
And that’s it!
Please visit the rest of the Design Team to indulge in their delicious offerings. We are fortunate to have STAMPlorations sponsoring our Challenge this week, so please visit the CASology blog for more details:

Your cupcake wrapper is absolutely fantastic Hazel! Love this card!
Your so clever to paper piece the cupcake wrapper, makes it seem so much more real!! Love the grey on grey effect, makes your iced cupcake more delicious. About to post a card for this challenge right now!
Hazel, I’m loving that colorful cupcake liner! I’m a sucker for pretty wrappers and I’d probably end up purchasing that one if I happened to see it in the store! 😉
Love this on the grey, its looks fab
Hey Hazel!! I love how you used gray cardstock for your card. So pretty. The visual triangle is awesome. I need to try that. Nicely done.
Love the pop of pink against the grey, and the sweet details!!!
Hello Hazel,
Beautiful card! I love this cupcakes border, and the idea that only one muffin paint is perfect. In this way, a very draws our attention.
