CASology Week 148: Story

Hello Everyone!

I hope my American friends have enjoyed their Memorial Day long weekend, and my English friends, their Bank Holiday. How quickly Tuesday arrives when you have a Public Holiday!

This week’s CASology cue word is:

Story! This is a FANTASTIC cue word that can take you absolutely anywhere, and I just can’t wait to see what inspires you! We are very lucky to have The Ton Stamps  sponsoring us this week. Have you seen them yet? They are a relatively new company, but wow, do they have some very classy stamps and accessories! Check them out, and visit the CASology blog for more details.

So, here is my ‘Story’:

Once upon a time, a paper-pieced, voracious reading bookworm, found himself on the cover of a very CAS card. Piled beneath him were three of his most influential books: “I was Blind, but Now I can See”; “Global Worming”, and his least favourite, yet most enlightening: “The Early Bird Catches the Worm”.

As he gazed at the vastness of Very Vanilla from his unique vantage point, he was struck by the realisation that he liked big books, and he couldn’t lie. And with that, he politely excused himself, and wriggled into his newly released, critically acclaimed best seller: “Tequila: The Final Frontier”.

For those requiring a moral, it’ simply this: Never underestimate the power of a little paper-piecing! 😉
