Muse Christmas Visions 1

Yay! Muse Christmas Visions has officially begun, and what a stunning card to kick things off. I really loved this MUSE card from Kimberly:

And, here is how I was inspired:

I was inspired by just about everything on Kimberly’s card: the colours, blooms, embossing, water-colouring, layering and the large sentiment.

Admittedly, this card was deconstructed and reconstructed many times before I finished it (hence the tardy post). It started life quite differently to how it finished.

Thanks for visiting!

Materials used:

Ink: Night of Navy; Versa-Mark

Stamp: Petal Parade (Stampin’ Up!); ‘Joy’ wooden Sentiment stamp (141529)

Cardstock: Night of Navy (Stampin’ Up!); White (Panther); Vellum (my stash)

Die: L’il Inkers Stitched Mat Rectangular Die

Other: Crystal Effects; Gold Glory EP (Stampin’ Up!); Paintbrushes; Tombo Mono Adhesive

  2. Love your watercoloured border around the intricate gold embossing! Thanks so much for joining in at Muse Christmas Visions!

  3. Absolutely AMAZING…LOVE the vellum and the bold blue border, just a wonderful framing the for the lovely blooms! So overjoyed that you have joined in the VERY first MUSE Christmas Visons!

  4. Well, I just love how it turned out. Wouldn’t it be great if we could do a screenshot of our mind and print out what we see with regards to a design. I would love that but it worries me though about where it would be printed from……Anyway, gorgeous card and love those doily stamps, so intricate.

  5. Love the vellum sentiment panel and those big blooms. And you’re right – that Gold Glory EP has a great, brassy look!
