Blue Christmas

Hi again!

This card has been inspired by the following three Challenges:

AAA Cards – Blue, blue, blue Christmas,   The Card Concept’s -Snowman (Make a Tag) and the ever popular Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Christmas / Holidays.

My take:

Cardstock: Night of Navy (SU); White Card (Panther). Stamp: Holiday Home (SU). Ink: Night of Navy; Vers-Mark. Embossing Folder: Northern Flurry (SU); Die: Tag Along (Clearly Besotted); Punch: Scalloped Tag Topper (SU). Other: White Organza Ribbon (my stash); Twine (American Crafts). Embossing Powders: White; Clear (SU); Two Way Glue Pen; Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (SU)

I have gone with a “Clean & Layered” card, using Night of Navy and White as my colour scheme and the Holiday Home stamp set from Stampin’ Up! The large white tag has been dry embossed using the Northern Flurry (retired Stampin’ Up!) embossing folder. The middle tag has repeated stamped snowflakes heat-embossed in white. I stamped the mini snowman onto the uppermost tag. Despite his diminutive stature, I think he has prominence. What do you think? Snowie has been heat embossed in clear embossing powder to make him a little more shiny.

In terms of embellishments, there is organza ribbon and twine, and the teensiest bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter added beneath the snowman as well as to the stars.

And that’s it!

Hope you like it and thanks for visiting!
