So connected

I struggled for quite a while with this week’s CASology cue word. SO many ideas, but such a limited stash, so I improvised.

Week 93 - Electric

I actually ended up with something quite ‘blokey’, which is never a bad thing! ;-). Here we have an electric current flowing through a battery to create a ‘connection’. Corny, I know, but hey?


Not much to explain here, only that to  create the positive and negative symbols, I die-cut a number ‘4’ and number ‘7’ to size. I hope they look convincing…

Materials used:

(All materials used are Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise specified)

Cardstock: yellow cardstock (in stash); Basic Black; Whisper White; Cherry Cobbler; Green (in stash)

Stampset: Sincere Salutations (just used the word ‘so’ from ‘Thanks so much’ sentiment)

Ink: Stazon Black; Brilliance Moonlight White (Tsukineko) – sponging on black cardstock

Punch: paper rounder

Accessories: Big Shot & -Mixed Alphabet & Numbers dies (Lil’inker designs); Black sharpie for the ‘current’ symbol

Adhesive: tombo; two-way glue pen
